There are a lot of similarities between Indian-style wrestling and other traditional styles around the world. In parts of Africa and Vietnam, traditional wrestling bears a lot of resemblance to what we see in India. And a modern style of wrestling - beach wrestling - is now a recognized international style of wrestling with competitions sponsored by the governing body of wrestling, FILA.
