LAHORE – The 6th Khadim-e-Ala Punjab Dangal will be held here at the Iqbal Park Wrestling stadium on May 5.
According to an official of the organising committee, no funds are being taken from the government and the sponsors will hold the activity, Mohsin Arshad, an official of the Chief Minister Task force on wrestling said.
Similar dangals were organised at Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib and Mandi Bahauddin. All the financial needs were fulfilled by the local DCOs of the area.
At Lahore entry to the stadium will be free and young wrestlers would be encouraged to groom the sport, he said.
