JAMMU, June 1: 54th Annual Bambyal Kesari dangal will be organised by Bambyal Dangal committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at village Bambyal in district Jammu on June 8. .
The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting, which was chaired by Shiv Kumar Sharma, president of state association. The members of Bambyal Dangal committee were also present in the meeting. Sharma told about 55 wrestlers from different state like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, besides wrestlers from various parts of the state will also take part in the day long dangal. He said that the best wrestler of the dangal will be awarded with silver gurj and first malli by the chief guest.
An expenditure of Rs 60,000 has been estimated to be incurred on this dangal, which is being organised annually at village Bambyal.
