JAMMU, Jan 10: Organised by Shri Swami Nitya Nand Wrestling Association Panthal in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Indian Style Wrestling Association, the 111th Panthal Kesari Vishal Dangal shall take place at Panthal in distrtict Reasi on January 14.
A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting chaired by president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma at holy town of Katra.
The meeting was informed that about 70 wrestlers from different states like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, HP, Chandigarh as also parts of the J&K State are likely to compete in this day-long annual event.
An amount of Rs 1,25,000 is likely to be incurred in this dangal and would be contributed by inhabitants of from Panthal. Katra, Udhampur and Jammu. Winner of the event will be given away a cash prize of Rs 11,000 while runners-up to get Rs 7,000 in addition to other gifts.
Among others who attended the meeting included Chuni Lal Padha (president), Pritam Magotra (treasurer), Pershotam Mengi, Mukesh Khajuria, Om parkash Sanmotra, Rajinder Kumar Thappa Rakesh Khajuria Vicky Khajuria, Lekh Raj Sapolia, Pawan Khajuria, Bittu Khajuria, Sham lal Khajuria, Suresh Mengi, Ajit Kumar Master, Raman Kumar Sanmotra, Rakesh Chander Sanmotra, Darshan Kumar Prashner, Yash Paul Prasher, Romesh Chander Prasher, Ravi Khajuria, and Bhushan Khajuria.
