Wrestler Bobri Wins Sankri Kesri Dangal Title

JAMMU, September 04: Wrestler Bobri of Shiv Mandir Akhara Jammu clinched the 5th Sankri Kesari Dangal title beating Kuldeep Singh of Bamhag in district Udhampur in the main bout played at Sankri Devta in block Panchari in Udhampur.
For winning the main bout, Bobri was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2,000, while Kuldeep got Rs 1,000 from chief guest, Tehsildar Settlement, Sushil Kesar. Shiv Kumar, president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association presided.
BJP district Udhampur president, Dina Nath Bhagat, Naib Tehsildar, Panchari, Des Raj, SHO Panchari Mohd Sadiq Ahmed, district Reasi Indian style wrestling acting president Pappu Lakri, NC district Udhampur youth president, Ram Parshotam Sharma and vice chairman SC/BC cell, Master Prem Nath Bhagat were guests of honour.
In all, 31 bouts played in the day-long dangal which was organised by Meer Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association. In the second main bout Liaket Ali of Panthal bt Sadiq Ali of Shiv Mandir Akhara Jammu while Murad Ali of Jammu beat Angrej Singh of Jangalgali in the third bout.
Other Results: Sansar Singh bt Saffi Mohd; Jagdish bt Kuldeep Kumar, Roshan Din bt Balbir Singh, Chain Singh bt Kharaj Mohd, Kuldeep Singh bt Samsher Chand, Chain Singh bt Sher Singh, Saleen Mohd bt Lehar Singh. Bouts between Angrej Singh and Sadiq Ali, Murad Ali and Parkash Singh and Ajeet Singh and Rangeel Singh ended in draw.
Meer Dangal Committee members and technical officials who helped for conduct of this dangal were Lashman Singh Katoch (president) Rattan Singh, Prem Nath Bhagat, Balbir Singh, Angraj Singh, Smodh Singh, Gandarb Singh, Munshi Ram, Mohd Sain, Mahatam Singh, Gopal Singh, Om Parkash Sharma, Janak Singh, Dalbir singh, Puran Singh, Madan Lal, Mohd Fareed, Dharam Singh, Falail Singh, Prabhat Singh and Raj Kumar.
