JAMMU: As many as eleven foreign grapplers apart from Indian wrestlers, including the likes of the London Olympics bronze medallist Yogeshwar Dutt, will be a part of the third Mission-Dosti International Indian Style Dangal to be held here on October 19.
The day-long event will witness eight wrestlers from Pakistan, two Ukrainian and one English grappler vying for the title along side Indian athletes, president of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma, said here today.

"The 3rd Mission-Dosti International Indian Style Dangal is scheduled to be held on October 19, 2012 at Baba Ballo Dev Shathan in village Mathwar, a holy place in the border area of Akhnoor tehsil in Jammu district," Sharma informed.
The Indian challenge will be spearheaded by Yogeshwar Dutt, he said.
Asked whether the London Olympics silver medallist grappler Sushil Kumar will also be a part of the event, Sharma said he would not be available for the championship as he has some prior commitments on that day.
Sharma, who is also the treasurer of the Indian Style Wrestling Association and member of the J&K State Sports Council, added that apart from the international athletes, grpplers from Maharashtra, Delhi, Harayana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Railways, BSF, J&K Police and Jammu and Kashmir have confirmed their participation for the historic event.
He also said that an amount of Rs eight lakh was likely to be spent for the smooth conduct of the event.
