स्वर्गीय श्री देवी चरण पहलवान की 12वीं पुण्यतिथि पे वीरेंदर सिंह भडाना उर्फ़ बीरों भैया , अशोक पहलवान मथुरा द्वारा दंगल का आयोजन किया गया . जगह थी SDS , Nagar , Transport Mandi Chauraha, मथुरा। दंगल में निशांत और तोमर की, वरुण और अमित तथा विक्रम और धीरज की बड़ी कुश्तियां हुई. वरुण कुश्ती में विजयी रहे बाकी अन्य कुश्तियों में पहलवानों ने बड़ा दमखम लगाया लेकिन समय ख़त्म होने पर बराबरी पर छूटे। दंगल कमेटी ने रुपया बहुत खर्च किया मगर खामियों से भरे दंगल में पहलवानों की भीड़ कुश्ती करवाने के लिए हाथ पैर मारती रही , उन्होंने अखाडा घेर लिया, दर्शकों को कुश्तियां देखने असुविधा हुई,तो वे बैरिकेड तोड़ कर अखाड़े पर आ बैठे। कमेटी मेंबर्स को उन्हें कण्ट्रोल करने में लोहे के चने चबाने पड़े! अखाड़े की पत्थरों और धुल से भरी मिटटी को अंत तक खोदना तो दूर उसमे पानी तक नहीं छिड़का गया , इससे अक्सर पहलवान कमर या घुटने में चोट या दर्द की शिकायत करते हैं , कई जोड़ पहलवान और इधर उधर देखते रेफरी कई बार निर्णय न दे सके, उधर छोटे जोड़ पहलवानों ने खुल्ले हाथ भी चलाये। जब वरुण , विक्रम , निशांत और राजू तोमर जैसे बड़े पहलवान अखाड़े पर आये तभी कुछ शांति हुई. नये पहलवानों को उनसे सबक लेना चाहिए की वो कैसे दर्शको में सामान बाँध देते हैं, पहलवानों को समझना चैहिये दंगल है दंगा नहीं, और कमिटी को भी चाहिए को ऐसे पहलवानों को रोकें या बहार करे. दंगल कमेटी ने गुरु खलीफाओं जिसमे गुरु जसराम , चन्दन सिंह, हाकिम सिंह , कुंजन गुरु, नारी खलीफा , लाला व् अय्यूब खलीफा का राधा किशन की फोटो व् पट्टा पहना कर स्वागत किया। दंगल में वरुण पहलवान ने अपनी तरफ से मुझे पटा और नकद दे कर सम्मान किया वहीँ विक्रम पहलवान ने आने जाने की व्यवस्था , तथा साबिर , ललित नीरज ने खाने पीने की व्यवस्था की. इन सभी बड़े पहलवानों को बहुत -२ धन्यवाद जिनका प्रेम और आदर सम्मान मुझे कुश्ती पत्रकारिता के लिए लगातार कर्मठ रहने की क्षमता प्रदान करता है. -view my full report regarding the comeptition at - http://kushtiwrestling.blogspot.in/

A great dangal was organized earlier this month by Sh. Virender Singh Bhadana, also known as Beeron Bhaiya, and Sh. Ashok Pahlwan, president Braj Bhoomi wrestling association Mathura.
The dangal commemorated the 12th anniversary of the death of wrestler Shri Devi Charan Pahwlan. The venue was SDS, Nagar, Transport Mandi Chauraha Mathura.
The main events pitted Nishant Thakur against kushti legend Rajiv Tomar, Varun Gurjar against Amit Nain and Vikram from Guru Jasram akhara against Dheeraj Pahalwan. Varun secured a pin to win his bout, but the other matches ended in draws.
There was very little discipline during the competition. Spectators moved too close to the wrestling area which made it difficult for others to see the action. And the wrestling ground wasn’t prepared properly. The ground was hard and dry, resulting in large amounts of dust as the athletes wrestled
There was also a lack of discipline among some of the younger wrestlers, who threw a few punches here and there, as some of the referees failed to maintain order.
They should follow the example of senior wrestlers like varun, nishant and rajiv tomar, who followed rules, respected their opponents and showed impressive skill.
Guru Jasram, Chandan Singh, Hakim Singh,Kunjan, Nari, Lala, and ayyuub were honored with pagri and given a photograph of Lord Krishna and radha as a memento. The dangal committee didn’t notice me, but Varun, Vikram and other wrestlers felicitated me and I greatly appreciate their support.
