NEW DELHI: Dushyant Sharma has been elected the president of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI).
Sharma, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir, defeated former secretary-general Kartar Singh in the race for the top spot on Friday.
"Sharma defeated former secretary-general Kartar Singh. The other Office bearers are Raj Singh, elected new secretary general, and Prem Nath, elected new treasurer. Hamza-Bin-Omer has been elected the new senior vice-president," WFI release stated Saturday.
All four top office bearers are former distinguished wrestlers.
