JAMMU: Sagar of Delhi clinched the 20th edition of the Dera Kesari Dangal, which was organised by Dera Baba Banda Bahadur Dangal Committee in association with J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Dera Banda Bahadur.
In the main bout, Sagar defeated Navdeep of Khanna in Punjab to receive a cash prize of Rs 5,000 in addition to silver Gurj and Patta. Runners-up, Navdeep awarded a cash prize of Rs 4,000.
Prizes were given away by Chief Guest, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Avtar Singh. President of J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma presided.
Total 36 bouts were played in this day long Dangal, organised on the eve of Baisakhi. The second main bout was won by Parveeen of Khanna, who beat Omkar Singh of BSF Third main bout went to Kalbir Singh of Kot Bhawal Jammu after he defeated Malkiyat of Punjab.
In the fourth main bout, Akram of Jammu beat Akshay Kumar of Khanna.
