गढ़ दंगल - ब्रिज घाट

"इस लड़की का जोड़ नहीं मिला , इसका कहना है की इसके जोड़ का लड़का भी इससे कुश्ती लड़ सकता हैं" ब्रज घाट , गढ़ गंगा में कुश्ती देखने हजारों की भीड़ के बीच विश्स्वास पहलवान ने घोषणा की। जानिये इस महिला वर्ग में बेजोड़ रही सूरज पहलवान की बेटी दिव्या सैन को । देखते ही देखते कई बालक हाथ मिलाने आ पहुंचे , कमेटी के प्रबंधक विश्वास पहलवान ने एक अच्छे पहलवान को चुनकर दोनों पहलवानों के बीच कुश्ती की घोषणा की तो दर्शकों ने जम कर तालियाँ बजाई , दोनों पहलवानों ने ब्रजघाट का दंगल यादगार बना दिया , हालांकि दर्शकों को यकीन था की कोई भी लड़का जल्दी से किसी भी बराबर वजन की लड़की को हरा देगा , और अब दिव्या के प्रतिद्वंदी को देखकर उन्हें यकीन हो चुका था , इतना तगड़ा है, "ये लड़की तो हार गई " मैंने दर्शकों को कहते सुना। फिर भी सब लोग देखना चाहते थे सो कुश्ती शुरू हो गई। पहलवान ने दिव्या को खींच कर नीचे गिराया, और घिस्सा लगा कर चित्त करने की कोशिश की , लेकिन बाहर जाने के कारण रेफरी ने कुश्ती को खड़ा कर चलाने का इशारा किया , इधर दर्शकों का रोमांच बढ़ता गया , "कौन अब क्या करेगा ?" वो आपस में पूछते , खड़े होकर दिव्या पहलवान ने अपना कोस्टूम ठीक किया, और जीदार हो कर अटैक लगाया , जिससे बचने की कोशिश हुई पर दिव्या ने एक और अटैक लगाया , जिसे बाहरी कलाजुंग भी कहा जाता है, और दिव्या का प्रतिद्वंदी चारों खाने चित्त, लोगों की हैरानी का ठिकाना न था, ये कुश्ती एक महिला पहलवान अपने पुरुष प्रतिद्वंदी को हरा कर जीत चुकी थी , पुरुष - प्रमुख वाली मानसिकता को ठेस तो जरूर पहुंची , पर कुश्ती भरपूर मनोरंजक रही, विश्वास पहलवान ने कहा की जितनी सुन्दर कुश्ती उतना सुन्दर इनाम , दर्शकों ने तालियाँ पीट -२ कर मानो आसमान सर पे उठा दिया। और देखते ही देखते दिव्या सैन दंगल की स्टार बन गई। नेता जी , कुंवर सिंह तंवर ने अपनी तरफ से दिव्या को ग्यारह हज़ार , इतना ही दंगल कमेटी ने और भीम पहलवान ने भी दिया, दंगल में बैठे सभी गुरु , खलीफाओं ने भी अच्छी कुश्ती दिखाने पर दिव्या को नकद इनाम दिया। कमेटी ने घोषणा की जनता को उनकी माँ बहन और घरवाली की कसम वो भी इस बिटिया को इनाम देकर हौसला अफजाई करें। फूल माला पहना , ढोल बजा कर पूरे दर्शकों के बीच दिव्या को घुमाया गया और दर्शकों ने दिव्या की झोली को नकद इनाम से लबालब कर दिया। उत्तर प्रदेश के रुढ़िवादी समाज में ये कोई आम बात नहीं है, मैंने देखा है की अक्सर दंगलों में लड़कियां या तो शरीक नहीं होती , या आने पर भी जल्दी से उनकी कुश्ती नहीं होती , पर इधर सामाजिक बदलाव लोगों की महिलाओं के प्रति मानसिकता को भी बदल रहे हैं, जिसका उदहारण गढ़ का ये दंगल रहा। पतित पावनी गंगा के तट , कौरवों और पांडवों की अस्थि विसर्जन का स्थान बनी भोलेनाथ की इस पसंदीदा , भूमि ब्रजघाट पर ये दंगल बेहतरीन दंगलों में एक था, कुश्ती दंगल के परंपरा के इस शानदार अध्याय में मुख्य पात्र फतेह -पुर, दिल्ली के नेता जी कुंवर सिंह तंवर और उनकी टीम , गुरु हनुमान अखाड़े के शिष्य विश्वास पहलवान , लाला पहलवान, भीम पहलवान हैं , उन्होंने ही इस बेहतरीन दंगल का आयोजन किया। जिसमे महिलाओं और पुरुष दोनों वर्गों के मुकाबले रखे गए थे . पुरुष वर्ग में पहली की कुश्ती राजीव तोमर ने छत्रसाल स्टेडियम के एक पहलवान बसंत को धोबी दांव पर नीचे ला कर तोड़ कर चित्त किया , दूसरी कुश्ती को विक्रांत पहलवान गुरु हनुमान ने भिवानी के विकास को हरा कर जीता इस तरह अन्य बड़ी कुश्तियों में , सिरस्पुर के सिल्लू को अनुज गुरु हनुमान ने चित्त किया, कल्लू गुरु हनुमान ने भी अच्छी कुश्ती मारी , कपिल और पचोता के अनिल के बीच कुश्ती बराबर रही , बमेठा के किरसन और सुमित की कुश्ती देखने लायक थी लेकिन बराबरी पर छूटी , सिंटू गुर्जर पहलवान डगरपुर की कुश्ती मुला पहलवान से हुई जो काफी देर तक चली समय ख़तम होने पर कुश्ती बराबरी पर छूटी, इसी प्रकार नए और बाल पहलवानों की अनेकों कुश्तिया हुई , महिला वर्ग में भी पहलवानों की अनेकों कुश्तिया हुई, महिलाओं की प्रतिभा को संवारने और उन्हें मौका देने के लिए दंगल के आयोजकों मै शुक्रिया अदा करना चाहूँगा। दंगल में अनेकों गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने भाग लिया जिसमे प्रकाश कुल्हिपुरिया पहलवान , जो अपने समय के अच्छे पहलवान और मुल्तानी दांव के पारंगत थे, गुरु हनुमान अखाड़े से द्रोणाचार्य गुरु महा सिंह राव , मेरठ से डाक्टर जबर सिंह, और अलका तोमर , गुरु राजू राणा सिरस पुर से, सूरज पहलवान, इत्यादि। दंगल में अपने समय के स्टार पहलवान हिन्द केसरी भगत सिंह, हिन्द केसरी राजू पहलवान, गुलाम साबिर, सतपाल , प्रमुख लीलू पहलवान,इत्यादि। दंगल में गढ़ क्षेत्र के पुलिस विभाग के अफसरों का भी स्वागत किया गया, उन्होंने क्षेत्र को सुरक्षित बनाने में जी जान एक कर रखी है, उनका बहुत -२ ,आभार , दंगल में गढ़ के मुख्य पुजारी शामिल रहे , और उनका फूलमाला पहना कर स्वागत किया गया। दंगल में सभी अखाड़े से आये गुरु खलीफा और कॉचेस का सम्मान किया गया।


ENGLISH VERSION

"This girl remains unchallenged among women, so she will challenge any boy of her age," announced Vishwas Pahlwan before the thousands of people gathered at Gadh to watch a great dangal. The girl was Divya Pahlwan, daughter of Suraj Pahlwan of Delhi. Many boys came forth to accept the challenge and Vishwas Pahlwan, a member of organising committee, finally chose a suitable opponent.
The crowd applauded, eager to see whether this female wrestler could actually beat a man. When they saw here opponent, I heard people saying, “he is very strong, Divya will lose for sure.” What they didn’t know was that Divya had taken on male wrestlers before and had pinned them all. The spectators were cheering as the match began. The male wrestler immediately attacked, taking Divya down, but the two tumbled out of bounds and the referee brought them back to their feet in the center of the pit. Divya went on offense. She sprang at her opponent, and as he defended himself she attacked again, flipping him over with a move called kalajang. The male wrestler tried to roll out of it, but Divya held him on his back and pinned him. It took her only one minute to defeat him. The crowd roared with approval. They had never seen such a thing. Her opponent looked stunned as he got up off the ground, but he was also in awe of Divya’s wrestling abilities.
Vishwash Pahlwan said there would be a prize as good as the match was, and announced a cash reward of eleven thousand for the winner. Most of the dignitaries, including political leader Neta ji Kanwar Singh Tanwar and also Bheem Pahlwan, gave her cash prizes.
This is how the land witnessed a beautiful wrestling competition in the place where the ashes of kaurava’s and pandavs were immersed in the epic “Mahabharat”. It is also the place most loved to Lord Shiva on the banks of the sacred river Ganga.

The first prize match for Rs one lakh was between Rajiv Tomar of Guru Hanuman Akhada and Basant of Chhtrsaal Stadium. Both are very good heavyweight wrestlers and their match was inaugurated by the dignitaries. It wa a quick match as Tomar used a technique called dhobi to put Bansal on his back and pin him.
The second prize match was between vikrant pahlwan of guru hanuman akhada and Vikas of Bhivani Haryana. Vikas ground his knee into his opponent’s head to block his movement as he pulled him up and turned him onto his back to get the pin and the victory.
In other matches, sillu pahlwan of siraspur was defeated by anuj of guru hanuman akhada, and there was one match between kapil and anil was declared a draw.
Wrestler Sintu Gujjar pahwlan of Dagarpur village son of Leelu pramkuh pahlwan fought with mula pahlwan of guru hanuman akhada. Both wrestlers fought well and remained equal when time ran out.
Guru Dr. Jabar Singh came with his disciple Alka Tomar and told the public how he felt cheated when Alka missed her Olympic birth. He told people that alka has won medal in every national and international competition except in Olympic.
Guru Prakash Pahlwan Kulhipuria came to see the dangal also and the announcer told a story about how he once wrestled guru chandgi ram ji and his signature technique was called multani. And now he teaches wrestlers at guru hanuman akhada and the dangal committee thanked him.

Many big names in wrestling like Hind kesri bhagat singh, Raju of badri akhada, Ghulam Sabir , Leelu pahlwan, lala pahlwan, suraj pahlwan bheem pahlwan, also came to watch the dangal. Guru Dronacharya Mahasingh Rao ji also came and was honored by the dangal committee. Also all the gurus, khalifas, and coaches of the akharas were welcomed and honored there.
The officers of the police force of Gadh were also honored. The announcer told people how once the inspector was shot by criminals and almost lost his life. He was cheered for his efforts to keep the peace. Gurus of the brij ghat were also honored with a pagri. I was also cheered up for my services to Indian wrestling and given with a pagri and cash prize. I offer all my thank to the dangal committee.
