दिसंबर के महीने के शुरूआती दिन चंडीगढ़ में बिताये। यहाँ ठण्ड अब बढ़ने
लगी हैं। लोग बाग़ जैकेट और स्वेटर स्कार्फ़ के साथ ही घर से बहार निकल रहे
हैं। लेकिन अखाडा मुल्लांपुर गरीबदास ( गोलू पहलवान अखाडा ) में जोशो
खरोश के साथ अभ्यास की गर्मी बरक़रार हैं। मेरे लिए तो पंजाब में कुश्ती
परंपरा पर लिखने और प्रचार करने का समय हैं। ठण्ड से बचकर मैंने अखाड़े के
बच्चों के इंटरव्यू लिए। कोच और गुरु खलीफाओं से बातचीत की। इसी दौरान
अपने चैनल के लिए शार्ट व् लॉन्ग वीडियो बनाये। इसी महीने अखाड़े पर एक
शानदार दंगल और स्टेट चैंपियनशिप भी होने जा रही हैं। यह कम्पटीशन रवि
शर्मा पहलवान जी , जो की गोलू पहलवान के बड़े भाई हैं उनकी संस्था DAS
करवा रही हैं। जिसका मैं भी एक सदस्य हूँ। और अपनी सेवाएं देने को
प्रयासरत रहूँगा।
मेरे यहाँ निवास के दौरान मैं , एक दिन सूरजपुर कुश्ती दंगल देखने गया।
मेरे साथ गोलू पहलवान के शिष्य और थेडो जॉर्जिया पहलवान भी गए। सूरजपुर
में बाबा सोढ़ी भगत कुश्ती दंगल कराते हैं। यह दंगल बाबा संत रौनकी राम
जी याद में,सोढ़ी भगत जी प्रतिवर्ष कराते हैं। मैंने कई बार इस दंगल की
कवरेज की हैं। दंगल में कुलवीर भाई काईनोर और संत पहलवान डूमछेड़ी से
मुलाकात हुई।एक और कुलवीर भाई ने अपनी कमेंट्री और कुश्ती चैनल के जरिये
पंजाब की कुश्ती को बढ़ावा दिया हैं वहीँ संत पहलवान मामूपुर ने रेफेर्शिप
, जोड़ मिलाने , निर्णय देने जैसी व्यवस्थाओं के जरिये दंगल के सुचारु
संचालन में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई हैं। संत पहलवान जब दो बराबर पहलवानो
के जोड़ मिलाते हैं तो कुश्तियां काँटा और मजेदार हो जाती हैं। वहीँ दंगल
में राजा पहलवान रेफेर्शिप की भूमिका में थे। उनके निर्णय सटीक होते हैं
, और सर्वमान्य होते हैं।
सूरजपुर के इस दंगल में शानदार कुश्तियां हुई। पहली कुश्ती अजय पहलवान
गुज्जर , अखाडा बारन व् कल्लू पहलवान बहरोवाल के बीच हुई। यहाँ पर
पहलवान अजय गुर्जर अपनी फुल फॉर्म में दिखे , उन्होंने कल्लू पहलवान पर
अपने आकर्मण जारी रखे और रेला मारकर कल्लू को चित्त किया। वहीँ दूसरी
कुश्ती हेडो जॉर्जिया और विशाल पहलवान के बीच हुई। कुश्ती बीच मिनट
बराबर रही। उसके बाद पॉइंट्स पर हुई , जो की हेडो पहलवान ने जीती। इसी
प्रकार सुनील जीरकपुर , छोटा सद्दाम जैसे बेहतरी कुश्ती खिलाडियों ने भी
अपने दांव पेच दिखाए।

continues with enthusiasm in Mullanpur Garibdas Akhara (Golu Pehalwan Akhara).
For me, it is time to write and promote the wrestling tradition in Punjab. Saving myself from the cold, I interviewed the children of the Akhara. Interacted with coaches and gurus. During this time, made shorts and long videos for my channel.
A Dangal and state championship is also going to be held at the Akhada this month. This
competition is being organized by Ravi Sharma Pehalwan ji, who is the elder brother of Golu Pehalwan, through his organization DAS. Of which I am also a member. And I will try to provide my media services to the best.
During my stay here, one day I went to Surajpur to watch the traditional wrestling Dangal match. Golu Pehalwan's disciple and Thedo Georgia Pehalwan also went with me.
Baba Sodhi Bhagat organizes wrestling Dangal in Surajpur. This Dangal is organized every year in memory of Baba Sant Raunaki Ram Ji by Sodhi Bhagat Ji. I have covered this Dangal many times. I also met Kulveer Bhai Kainor and Sant
Pehelwaan Doomchhedi in the Dangal. Kulveer Bhai has promoted the wrestling of Punjab through his commentary and wrestling channel, while Sant Pehelwaan Mamupur has promoted the wrestling of Dangal through pairing opponents, refereeing in the bouts and giving great decisions etc. thus have played an important role in smooth functioning of the dangal events in Punjab.
When Sant Pahalwan mamupur pairs wrestlers, the game becomes intense and fun. Whereas in Dangal, Raja Pahalwan was in the role of referee. His decisions are accurate and universally accepted.
Thus, it was a great wrestling event in Surajpur.
The first wrestling match took place between wrestler Ajay Gujjar, Akhara Baran and Kallu wrestler Baharowal. Here wrestler Ajay Gurjar was seen in his full
form, he continued his attack on wrestler Kallu and defeated Kallu by a great technique.
The second wrestling match took place between Thedo Georgia and Vishal Pehalwan. The wrestling continued for 20 minutes and remained tied.
After that it was fought on points, on which Thedo won. Similarly, big names in wrestling like Sunil Zirakpur, Chhota Saddam also showed their wrestling skills in the dangal.
